From Raw to Vegan Dog Food

"I feel so happy that I have made this transition and no longer have to cry when chopping up raw food!"

Vegan Boxer dog who transitioned from raw to vegan dog food

We all have our reasons for transitioning our dogs to a complete plant-based diet, and for Travis the Boxer's Mum, it certainly was exactly the right decision for his health and for her ethics!

Travis suffers from an intolerance to many ingredients which results in itchy pink skin, and very sloppy poos that she confessed she could never pick up.

She had him on a raw meat-based diet, which she said made her cry everytime she cut up the food to give to him (very understandably).

Just SO lovely to receive this feedback -

"I would like to update you on Travis who is now fully plant based! 😊

I have started home cooking using your recipes (although the recipe had no blueberries when I made it). I am planning on feeding him home cooked to add to his solo veg biscuits.  I also give about half a tin of give a dog a bean twice a day in his Kong (which he loves).

I will say that since he is off the raw, his feet have lost the pinky colour and gone back to white and his ears have cleared up - they were always mucky - I can’t believe how quickly this has happened! His poos are still soft but I’m working on it - he is comfortable and at least I can pick them up as on raw food they were terrible.

Thank you so much for all of your help!

I feel so happy that I have made this transition and no longer have to cry when chopping up raw food!"

PS - photo is of huge pot of food that I cooked him! (See our home cook recipes here)
