Dolly's skin managed with Solo Vegetal!

"The impact that Solo Vegetal had on my rescue Bassett Tommy prompted me to try the food on a Basset Dolly I fostered from BRNGB.

Dolly came to me in July 2023 very weak, unable to walk as her legs were so sore and her owners had been unable to manage her skin. She was 10 years old and shut down.

My vet went back to basics and started with antibiotics and Malaseb baths. Knowing how well Tommy had done on Solo Vegetal, we fed her the same when we could not get her to eat her own food, and we started to turn a corner!

By November 2023 and to date (November 2025) Dolly’s skin has been managed using only Malaseb and Solovegetal. It took a long time to feel confident that she was able to live comfortably on this regime and by then we could not let her go so we adopted her and here she stays.

This food is a lifeline for dogs with severe skin conditions. I would say it takes 3 months to see if it will work but then the improvement is there to see!"  - Karen Cheshire
