We all need our reasons for transitioning our dogs to a pure, clean plant protein diet feeding our dogs either complete premium soya-free dry foods, delicious complete grain-free wet foods, or even home-cooking wholefood balanced meals.
🌱 Most of us do it for welfare reasons as we do not want to feed the animals in our home other animals (yes we're absolutely with you on that!)
🌱 Some of us look for the science and the evidence that dogs eating a plant-based diet can not only be healthier with a better quality of life, but they could also live up to 18 months longer (yes we absolutely ALL want that!!)
🌱 Some of us (well probably most of us), suffer from climate anxiety and just want to do the right thing by our planet and choose the most sustainable diet for our dogs that has the least impact (yes and we have science to back that one up too!!)
🌱 Some of us can only feed our dog a complete delicious plant-based diet as they suffer from so many intolerances (hurrah that our soya and grain-free foods that we stock are shown to have the most success for your allergic dog with digestive issues!!)
🌱 Some of us are a bit addicted to our phones and when feeds come up in our daily doomscrolling showing us that our favourite celebrities feed their own dogs a vegan diet, then that can be our call to action to maybe try it too on our dogs - we love you for that and any reason to transition your dog is the right reason and this blog post is for you 🥰

Lee Mack; host of 1% Club and comedian extraordinaire on 'Would I Lie To You' - we would love him even if he wasn't vegan....but he is our first wonderful celebrity who has openly said on a podcast with Emily Dean called
Walking The Dog; that he feeds his dogs a vegan diet (as his vet recommended it)!!
Chris Packham
💚 We wouldn't have our inspirational Chris Packham, if it wasn't for his adored Poodles Sid and Nancy. He has openly spoken of how if it weren't for his previous 2 Poodles Itchy and Scratchy; he was close to taking his own life, but
having them stopped him - wow how we love him for his honesty!
He has always raw fed his Poodles and as a naturalist and environmentalist, this must have been very difficult for him, but the influence that raw feeding companies have due to their enormous marketing power (it is very lucrative to sell the byproducts of the heavily subsidised meat-based industry that doesn't even need cooking and has to be sold in cheap plastic containers, so LOTS of money to be made and LOTS of marketing power to influence people that it's the best thing.....but it certainly isn't!!)

yes we counted every one of them) shows the enormous dangers to us, our dogs and our planet with raw feeding, so what a relief that Chris Packham is acting as an Influencer and transitioning his Poodles to plant-based.
We are a little sad
that it is Omni pet food and see the reason why here, as we have been trying to get him to change Sid and Nancy to our soya-free premium foods for years at Just Be Kind, but we are still so pleased that Sid and Nancy will be transitioned away from raw food!! (and the more people that hear about plant-based dog food through very prominent Chris Packham; the better.)

Lewis Hamilton
💚 F1 Racing driver Lewis Hamilton adopted his second Bulldog Roscoe in 2013, and Roscoe suffered from a number of health problems for the first eight years he was in his care. Lewis Hamilton decided to change Roscoe's diet to a complete vegan dog food diet in 2020, and
saw marked improvements in his wellbeing. “He always had health issues and would struggle with things like his breathing and his walking,” Lewis Hamilton said. “I saw that having a plant-based diet was something that could be helpful as long as we were making sure he was getting all of his nutritional needs met, so I decided to try it.”
According to Lewis Hamilton, Roscoe thrived on his diet, and even had softer fur and better skin in addition to reduced health issues.
We were absolutely devastated when Roscoe (the most famous vegan dog in the world!), died from pneumonia just before his 13th birthday which is such a good age for a Bulldog! Roscoe lived in the US and was fed on fresh complete food Bramble and homemade wholefoods.
He was Lewis Hamilton's famous mascot and attended all the Silverstone Grand Prix events with his very famous vegan athlete Superstar Dad! We tried our hardest to send some Give A Dog A Bean trays for Roscoe when he visited the Silverstone Grand Prix, but we were never able to get his email address, as they would be the closest to the wholefood fresh diet Bramble that he was used to and that kept him so healthy for all those years.

💚 How we love the BAFTA award winning actor Peter Egan who now uses his fame and time as a devoted animal activist helping so many causes. The animals though who are closest to his heart (yes his words) are Crackers his young rescue from Bosnia, and Boo his elderly rescue - he just adores them (we completely get this!)
