As well as making up a complete diet, Jumping Jack’s ingredients also have a number of health benefits for the body, in particular the skin, heart and gut:

• Faba Bean, Jackfruit and Quinoa protein is chosen as a valuable protein source as they have an optimal amino acid profile for your dog.
• Added Hemp Seeds and Algae provides the essential Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. They lead to a soft and healthy coat and fully support a healthy skin barrier for all dogs with sensitive skins as we have even removed the yeast for dogs with skin concerns.
• Blueberries are chosen for their antioxidant properties. They are characterised by a high fibre content, which has a beneficial effect on digestion. Minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium and potassium are abundant in blueberries as well as high levels of Vitamins B and E.
• Papaya is another superfood that is added as it contains one of the highest levels of natural digestive enzymes of all the fruit.
• Sweet Potato is rich in nutrients and fibre and contains large amounts of Vitamins A, C and E, as well as essential fibre. Due to a low sodium content, sweet potato has a diuretic effect, so that detoxification processes are stimulated in the body and harmful waste products are more easily removed.
• The addition of Carrots, Kale, Red Pepper, Pumpkin Seeds and Psyllium Husks ensures that your dog gets their ‘5 a day’ to naturally feed their gut microbiome which in turn will look after your dog’s health naturally.
• Sea Buckthorn is added which is a herb chosen for its very high natural Vitamin B levels
• Jumping Jack is a healthy, nutritionally complete, very tasty non-GMO plant-based food for your dog.

Feeding Guidelines and Storage

Suitable as a complete meal for adult dogs from 9-12 months old (small breeds), 12 months (medium/ large breeds), 18 months (giant breeds).

Can also be mixed with your puppy’s current dry food to complement a dry puppy food.

Feed once or twice a day at room temperature. Always keep a bowl of fresh water close by.

Transition your dog over a period of 2 – 3 weeks by slowly reducing the amount of original food and increasing the amount of JUMPING JACK each day if feeding meat-based dog food. Each tray weighs 290g. Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 2-3 days.

Raw fed dogs may require a slightly longer transition to ensure that their gut microbiome can adapt to the increase in natural fibre.
Ideal used as a topper over homemade fresh food such as quinoa, sweet potato, tofu to keep the food affordable. Can also be mixed with dry biscuits to offer extra taste and texture.

IS JUMPING JACK SUITABLE FOR DOGS WITH SENSITIVITIES?

Yes, as Jumping Jack is made from pure non-GMO novel protein ingredients, it is suitable for dogs with intolerances to all animal proteins, grains, soya, wheat and even pea protein and potatoes as these are not included as ingredients. It does contain yeast though.

For dogs with sensitivities being given plant-based dog food such as Jumping Jack for the first time, we advise that only very small portions are fed at a time to ensure that your dog's microbiome adapts to the change in plant proteins and fibre.

WHERE DOES THE NAME JUMPING JACK COME FROM?

With high protein and delicious Jackfruit as an ingredient, we immediately thought of the name Jack...and with the addition of the superfood Sea Buckthorn rich in Vitamins; it made us think of the a springing Buck hence the 'Jumping'!!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JUMPING JACK AND GIVE A DOG A BEAN?

Both complete wet foods are made from faba bean protein instead of pea protein as their main base.

Jumping Jack has jackfruit instead of red kidney beans in Give A Dog A Bean and red pepper instead of green beans, but otherwise the other ingredients are the same.

We chose to add yeast and the herb rich in Vit B called sea buckthorn to Jumping Jack and Give A Dog A Bean does not contain these.

The nutrient profile of both recipes are almost identical as well as calorific value.

WHY HAVE YOU NOT USED PEA PROTEIN?

We are so proud to have produced the very first vegan dog food in the world to contain no pea protein as one of its ingredients.
We have chosen to omit pea protein as we have had so many dogs show intolerances to peas of any kind so both Jumping Jack and Give A Dog A Bean are the ONLY plant-based food that they will be able to eat.

Faba bean protein is very palatable and high in all the amino acids that dogs need, and it is one of the most sustainable ways to farm as these legumes fix the nitrogen back into the soil acting as natural fertilizers for the next crop.

WILL FEEDING JUMPING JACK CALM MY DOG?

We have included the amino acid Trytophan in both Jumping Jack and Give A Dog A Bean which is the precursor to serotonin (the calming hormone). There is also the addition of psyllium husks in both recipes which is a natural prebiotic that enhances the gut health of your dog and has also been shown to have a calming effect on your dog's behaviour.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE VEGAN SOCIETY?

Both Jumping Jack and Give A Dog A Bean have been registered with the vegan society which means that thorough checks have taken place to ensure that ALL ingredients used are non-GMO and free of possible pesticide risk.
