We all have our reasons for sharing our home and life with a dog; but Jeanette and Sessi the Airedale's story is so remarkable and we feel so grateful that she has shared it with us.

"Yes, of course, please share my story as you wish 😊 Give all those that need inspiration the strength to push on with whatever battles they are facing, and let’s be honest, how many of us have no battles to fight even if only small ones 😊

Never give up, there is ALWAYS a good reason to fight on. Photo below taken minutes out of my 7 plus hour brain surgery and STILL smiling …..

This was the reason Sessi came into my life was to give me the incentive to push on and keep up my strength and willingness to fight my own journey.

See photos of what was to become quite the journey for me. Sessi became my inspiration and my reason, amongst others of course, to grab the fresh air, enjoy every single minute of the day that is given to you……

Warm wishes Jeanette"

Sessi still remains her Mum's inspiration and reason

Sessi turned 12 on the 1st October 2025 and for an elderly Airedale, she is remarkable and in such good health! With Jeanette's amazing journey, it makes such sense that she wants only the best for her Sessi!

She has been eating Give A Dog A Bean, Plaque Off dental bones and Solo Vegetal from Just Be Kind for quite a few years now and below is a photo that Jeanette sent over 3 years ago of beautiful Sessi (we see so few Airedale Terriers and I have never forgotten that photo of her on the stairs - what a darling girl !)
