My dog is a vegan documentary NOT TO BE MISSED!

In this documentary in two parts, dog lover Jon Erik West from Finland has dedicated himself to this very emotive and heartfelt topic of feeding his own dogs a vegan diet and researching the truth behind dog food nutrition!

Jon is a journalist, documentary filmmaker, activist, and Dogdad of seven rescues. In the film, he talks to experts from the industry (including Prof Andrew Knight, and the lovely vet Carla and Tessa from VegdogšŸ˜). How wonderful that Prof Knight and Vegdog were able to support him in his project!

We love his rescue dogs who during the trial period of transitioning over from meat-based dog food to Green Crunch dry food from VegDog, one of them left the original meat-based dog food in the bowl when transitioning over, but polished off ALL the Green Crunch! 🫶

We hear how vets only receive 2 hours of dog nutrition training during their 5 year degree, and how the large meat-based pet food corporates influence their selling power.

What is actually behind the flashy labels and promises of conventional meat-based dog food, and what influence does plant-based dog nutrition have on the health of our dogs and our planet!?

Watch the videos (only complaint - both a bit too long to watch!) – it's good education for when you have to explain why your dog is vegan (and thriving!)
