Participate in a groundbreaking diet study

Are you a cat owner? Take part in cat study

Cat carers are invited to take part in a major new study exploring how different diets can affect feline health.

In an area where surprisingly little scientific research currently exists, the study aims to gather insights from thousands of owners worldwide to help build one of the most comprehensive pictures to date of how feeding choices influence cat health.

The research offers a unique opportunity for cat carers of all feeding approaches to contribute to evidence-based understanding.

Participants are asked to complete a short online questionnaire about a cat who has lived in their household for at least one year, including questions about diet, health and feeding patterns.

Taking part is simple and takes most people around 5 minutes to complete. It’s open to anyone aged 18 or over.

Whatever you feed your cat, take part here: cathealthsurvey.com

We are hugely grateful to you who feed either Ami or Benevo to your cat as we need participants choosing ethical kinder cat food options after receiving this email from Prof Andrew Knight:

"All cats are welcome but we particularly need cats fed vegan or vegetarian diets as their numbers are currently very low. The study is an internet-based survey and is available at www.cathealthsurvey.com.

Most people take around 5 minutes to complete it.

Participants can be located anywhere and simply need to have been feeding a cat for at least one year.

They must be aged 18+"

With kind regards and thanks,

Prof Andrew Knight
