What a success story sweet plant-based Staffy rescue Nahla is! Her Mum wrote to Just Be Kind about Nahla 5 years ago now (!), and I wrote a Blog post about her which proved to be one of our most widely read posts on our original website; as Nahla's wonderful Mum Ness gave detailed instructions on how she home cooked for her dogs!

Please read the post here from 2021 about how Nahla was cured of SRMA (and inflammatory Meningitis that can only be treated with steroids)...but her Mum's determination to only feed her the best wholefood ingredients that she could, had an amazing effect and 5 years later, this is what she has to say about Nahla (who now has a new rescue friend Rocky 5 years later).
"Hi Arielle
I just wanted to update you on Nahla who celebrated her 5 year plantversary today! She also has just turned 8 years old I don't know if you remember since she was 2 she had suffered SRMA (Meningitis) twice.
She also has inflammatory colitis. Since she has been plant-based she has not once has a recurrence of SRMA and her colitis only (and I mean only) flares up when people decide to set off fireworks!
We also rescued a pupster we called Rocky who was found on the streets emaciated and probably lived off eating cardboard and scraps.
We immediately started feeding him home cooked using your guidance and supplements, and he is also thriving and we are constantly getting comments of how beautiful their coats are and their condition particularly Rocky's muscles which are purely plant based formed.
I dont need to let you know about their amazing picky up poops nor how healthy their teeth are nor their non smelly breath because we all know Plants are Best 👌
