š Handsome Cockapoo Peanut's story as told by his devoted Mum -
"I have been slowly transitioning my lovely Peanut onto Green Crunch. He is now on approximately two thirds of this with some cooked sweet potato and turkey mixed in. We are taking it so slowly as he just canāt tolerate any sudden changes to his diet.
This has been very successful. We have not required the use of steroids, which I am so pleased about and Peanut has actually put on nearly a kilo of weight, which is amazing as he had been losing weight for the 5 months before this despite being a puppy who should have been growing!
He is almost the weight now he was back in March when he first contracted the dreaded Giardia infection and then campylobacter!Ā
We had tried so many dog foods from our vet before Green Crunch without success and much heart ache. Ā His tummy just couldnāt tolerate them and he had persistent reoccurring loose bloody and mucus stools or vomiting.Ā
We have not experienced any of this since September which is life changing for Peanut and us!
My plan is to completely remove the turkey from Peanutās diet and trying your Give a Dog a Bean food for Peanut to add to his Green Crunch to replace the remaining turkey and sweet potato.
Thank you so much for your help for us, for all the other dogs you have helped and the animals that are no longer being harmed in the dog food industry due to your work promoting and producing vegan dog food.
I honestly think my lovely Peanut would have been on a meat based prescription dog food and steroids to manage his intolerances if I had not found your website.
As a long time ethical vegan, buying and cooking meat based foods for my dog has been such an ethical dilemma and cause of much personal anguish and Iām so pleased for him and me that there is an alternative that actually has made him better.
I canāt thank you enough."
